Devdarvadi Kashaya is an Ayurvedic medicine in water decoction form. It is used in the treatment of cough, cold, bronchitis, asthma, bodyache etc. 

Devdarvadi Kashaya uses: 

  • It is used in the treatment of asthma, respiratory disorders, abdominal colic, dizziness, headache, excessive irrelevant talk, excessive burning sensation, diarrhoea, tiredness, vomiting.
  • It is used in post partum care of the mother.

Devdarvadi Kashayam Dosage:
10 – 20 ml, once or twice a day before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.

Devadarvadi Kashaya Side Effects:
Take this medicine in precise dose and for limited period of time, as advised by doctor.
Pregnant ladies, lactating mothers and children should take this medicine strictly under medical supervision.
Over dosage may worsen gastritis.
Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store in a dry cool place.

10 g coarse powder of each of
Devadaru – Himalayan cedar (bark) – Cedrus deodara
Vacha – Acorus calamus
Kushta – Saussurea lappa
Pippali – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum
Shunti – Ginger Rhizome – Zingiber officinalis
Bhunimba – The Creat (whole plant) – Andrographis paniculata
Katphala – Myrica nagi
Musta – Nut grass (root) – Cyperus rotundus
Kiratatikta – Swertia chirata
Dhanyaka – Coriander – Coriandrum sativum
Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula
Gajapippali – Java Long Pepper (fruit) – Piper chaba
Dusparsha – Yellow berried nightshade (whole plant) – Solanum xanthcarpum
Gokshura – Small caltrops (whole plant) – Tribulus terrestris Linn.
Dhanvayasa – Alhagi pseudalhagi
Brihati – Indian Nightshade (root) – Solanum indicum
Ativisha – Aconitum heterophyllum
Guduchi – Indian Tinospora (stem) – Tinospora cordifolia
Karkatashrungi – Pistacia integerrima
Krishna Jiraka – Nigella sativa
All the ingredients are added to 16 parts of water, boiled and reduced to 1/4th part, filtered and used.
