Avipatikar is a Sanskrit term which means an eradicator of all kinds of Vipattis (Problems). Continuous use of antacids weakens the digestive system so for all these problems. Ayurveda recommends Avipatikar Churna. It neutralizes the increased acidic contents naturally and balance the Pitta (Agni) in the body. But never increase Kapha (Water ) and Vatta (Air) by doing so. It also nourishes the gastric mucosal lining and strengthens it. This unique formula removes heat from the intestine providing an antidote to pungent foods. It is soothing and calming to the internal membrane. It is tailored for those who experience Pitta (Agni) disorders such as biliousness, hyperacidity or heart burn.

Therefore Avipatikar Churna is primarily indicated for pacifying the Pitta (Agni) dosha and there by removing effects such as Hyperacidity. It also acts as a cleanser for the digestive system.

This herbal mixture is also found to comprise antioxidant properties due to vitamin C content that is contained in its constituent Amla. This is carminative and stomachic. It raises the protein level and balance the body weight due to positive nitrogen balance. It has been found to have an anabolic effect. Due to its carminative effect this calms down the digestive system and thus balance the system. It acts as a good appetizer. As an antioxidant it prevents premature aging and detoxifies and cleanses the whole body. It also prevents the premature graying and failing of hair.

In case one is suffering from Peptic ulcer problem, it will manage acidic secretions and avoid Pitta (Agni) imbalance. It also helps eliminate the waste stored in the intestine without any distortion in mucosal lining of the intestine. It removes excess of Pitta (Agni) so it relieves burning sensation in urinary system. For hyper acidity and abdominal aches, being a mild laxative it makes the stool soft, helps to check mild constipation and improve the appetite.

 

Indications

Gastritis : Gastritis is an inflammation of the lining of stomach. The lining of stomach and small intestines are protected against the irritating acids produced in the stomach. If this protective lining stops working correctly and the linings break down then it causes inflammation (Gastritis) or an ulcer.

Avipatikar Churna gives soothing and calming effect to the lining of the stomach and small intestine. It will manage acid secretions and avoids Pitta (Agni) imbalance.

Heartburn : It is a painful burning sensation in the esophagus just below or behind the breastbone. The pain rises in chest and may radiate to neck or throat.

Indigestion : Indigestion is a common problem. It may be triggered by drinking too much alcohol, spicy food, fatty food, overeating, emotional stress or nervousness. Too much caffeine, smoking, use of certain drugs such as antibiotics, asprin etc.

Constipation : When the stool is infrequent or requires significant efforts to pass or may have pain while passing stool or is unable to have a bowel movement is called constipation.

Avipatikar Churna has mild laxative effect that's why it helps in constipation.

Ginger

Dry root of Zingiber officinalie is an excellent stimulant and carminative and is useful for Dyspepsia, nausea, and acidic ailments. It is also useful in lowering the cholesterol. It acts as a very good antiemetic, Analgesic, digestive, Aromatic and stimulant herb.

Pippali

Piper Longum is used in lumber pain, dyspepsia.

Haritaki

Terminallia Belerica is useful in treating dyspepsia, biliousness. It is also useful in worm infestation. It is digestive and good appetizer and acts as an anti inflammatory and analgesic. Due to its astringent property it gives soothing effect to the lining of mucous membrane of stomach.

Amla

Emblica officianalis is useful in treating liver and gastrointestinal disorders. It is a good source of vitamin C. Amla helps in restoring intestinal, digestive enzymes and also helps in food absorption.

Nagar Motha

Cyperus Rotundus is a pungent bitter sweet herb that relieves spasm and pain acting mainly on digestive system.

Rock Salt

It is a mineral form of sodium chloride commonly known as rock salt. Sendha namak is considered a coding spice in ayurveda and is used as a laxative and digestive. It also relieves intestinal gas and heartburn.

The common salt can cause high BP while rock salt checks high BP.

Vidanga

Embellia Ribes is digestive, tasty, appetizer, colic. It helps in gastric problems, obesity and intestinal worms.

Cardamom Seeds (Cardamom Maton)

It is used in dyspepsia, anorexia and general debility.

Tej Patra (Cinnamomum Tamalla)

It is used for gastric ulcers and muscular soreness.

Lavang (Syzygium Aromaticum)

It is used in nausea, chest pain, digestive problems and for intestinal worms.

Nisoth (Operculina Turpethum)

It is used in swelling, improves digestion and power of stomach, chronic indigestion constipation, obesity etc.

 

Dosage:
