Shringarabhra Ras

Shringarabhra Ras is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form, used in the treatment of respiratory and digestive disorders. This medicine contains heavy metal ingredients, hence should only be taken under strict medical supervision. This medicine is most commonly used in north Indian Ayurvedic practice.

Shringarabhra Ras Uses: It is used in the Ayurvedic treatment of fever, indigestion, ascites, tuberculosis, cough, asthma, obesity, vomiting, gastritis, anemia, thirst, bleeding disorders.

It acts as natural aphrodisiac and anti aging medicine.

It is advised to take meet, ghee, gruel and cow milk, while taking this medicine. It is advised to avoid green leafy vegetables and sour food articles.

Shringarabhra Rasa side effects:
Self medication with this medicine may prove to be dangerous, since it contains heavy metal ingredient.
Take this medicine in precise dose and for limited period of time, as advised by doctor.
Over-dosage may cause sever poisonous effect.
It is best avoided in pregnancy, lactation and in children.

Karpura – Camphor – Cinnamomum camphora
Jatipatra – Nutmeg (leaf) – Myristica fragrans
Hrivera – Pavonia odorata
Ibhakana – Gajapippali – Scindapsus officinalis / Piper chaba
Patra – Cinnamomum tamala
Lavanga – Clove – Syzigium aromaticum
Mamsi – Nardostachys jatamansi
Taleesapatra – Abbies webbiana
Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum
Nagakeshara – Mesua ferrea
Kushta – Saussurea lappa
Dhataki – Fire flame bush (flower) – Woodfordia fruticosa
